Video podcasting: a few shows I think you should check out

I’v been watching video podcasts for a little bit more than 3 years now. I first discovered the very famous Diggnation with Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht.
Since I’m a big fan of having software on my computer (like Spotify, TweetDeck and Vienna) instead of having to go to an actual website (I know I’m not like other people…) besides having the option to watch these video episodes in iTunes I downloaded Democracy (now formally known as Miro) and I fell in love. I’v always loved how you can both find different kinds of video podcasts (and now also audio ones) in Miro and the way the player look and lets you organize different types of shows.
Anyhow I thought I would let you know which ones I like and watch frequently:
A great show about tech news and other geeky stuff. I like how they shoot outside and that it’s short but still informative and entertaining. Both Amber MacArthur and Will Pate are very good hosts as well!
A rather new video podcast about “street food” that I recently discovered. You can really tell that the host Daniel is passionate about what he does and that’s something that is really infectious.
Loaded (Cnet)
One of many other (even though some of them had to shut down) tech related shows. This one has sticked because I like the short format, it’s a good show to keep track on what’s the latest within tech on the Internet and also I think Natalie del Conti (who used to do another show I also like a lot called Textra) is very good at what she do (not only in front of the camera but that she actually knows what she is talking about).
There are so many and I’ll leave some for you to discover by yourself and for me to blog about in upcoming blog posts. But before I go I want to give you one last tip and that’s EpicFu. The haven’t been doing any episodes lately but It seems like they will be back soon.

What are your favourite video podcasts? Let me know in the comments!

Great selection and I like all of these. Haven seen that much of Vendr.tv but it looks really nice, great content, great passion and great video quality.
I also like Film Riot on Revision3, Random Episodes (with Kevin Rose) and The Totally Rad Show (mostly the parts about movies).

jag gillar dragspelsmuiken och hon e nice.
… annars, vilket slöseri med tid…
Hi Lars! I don’t agree that it’s a waste of time and I definitely think young people will start watch more podcasts as soon as the discover that you can find an internet show about almost any interest you might have. For me it’s both entertaining and a good source and complement to keep up with all things new online. When it becomes even easier to access the Internet via your TV I’m sure these type of shows will be streaming from lots of living rooms in the future!
