There’s a lot of talk about following people, brands, products you name it. People seems to be obsessed about getting the information quick (I know I am) but also to make sure they don’t miss out on something their “friends” like. I have used Twitter for a couple of years now and it has been interesting to see the dramatic growth of the service in only the last 6 months. One thing Twitter (and similar services for that matter) is good for is when you want to follow events or happenings of any kind in real time. By watching the latest episode of one my favorite video podcast I’ve been following since 2006 CommandN, I heard about an application (and I just love those…) called almost.at.

If you also like to see what people talk about a certain event in real time you should definitely check out this one. The fact that it has got a Mac OSX software application makes me happy because I love not having to go to a certain website. But if you prefer heading over to an online destination site that is of course possible as well. This weekend it’s the European Election. Want to know what people are talking about it? Besides actually meeting face to face you know where to go to get that information addiction of yours fed!
